Upon Further Review
It is my experience that the console world is generally driven by new games and new experiences( and in the 360′s case…more Gamerscore). I fell into this in 2007, when I purchased 7 new games and a bunch of DLC and Arcade games. I spent over 500 dollars that year on software, and even if the economy were not what it is now…that just feels like too much to me. The real crime is that in a drive to play the latest and the greatest, too many games went under played and under loved. This column is set to give me a chance to go back through my library and play through the neglected games in my collection.
I will start each column with a narrative history of my experience with the game and end it with expectations. After a play-through period I will go back and rate the game on the following criteria.
Expectations going in (recap of first post):
How expectations were met:
How they were not met:
Overall thoughts:
Rating: Dollars rating out of current MSRP. If there is DLC that I purchased I will have a rating that includes it in the MSRP as well as the rating.
